Discover Taiwan Through Leadership and Social Impact

The fellowship places selected participants in a Taiwanese NGO according to their professional background and field of interest. The program begins with a four day orientation workshop designed to introduce participants to NGO work collaboration and social development practices in Taiwan

Throughout the fellowship participants will take part in real NGO activities and projects. They will experience daily work inside nonprofit organizations and contribute directly to ongoing initiatives

Daily activities may include event planning project management fundraising activities teamwork and collaboration with NGO staff as well as participation in workshops and training sessions. Fellows will also gain valuable exposure to international NGO practices and connect with professionals experts and fellow participants from different countries

The fellowship is open to applicants interested in community development environment education gender and human rights media and information technology LGBTQ advocacy medical services and social welfare. Applicants from other NGO related fields may also be considered based on their achievements and motivation

Conditions

Applicants must be citizens of eligible countries and regions including Pakistan India Bangladesh Nepal Sri Lanka Bhutan Indonesia Malaysia Philippines Thailand Vietnam Japan South Korea Mongolia Palau Marshall Islands and Tuvalu

Applicants should have a strong interest in nonprofit work community engagement and international cooperation. They should be motivated to participate actively in all fellowship activities and be willing to work in a multicultural environment
