The DCA College Scholarship Program offers financial support of 3000 dollars to students pursuing undergraduate studies in fields connected to the poultry industry It is open to both current college students and graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into accredited institutions in the United States
Applicants must choose majors that align with careers in the poultry sector including poultry science animal science agriculture agribusiness veterinary science food science environmental science or business administration
The program focuses on supporting students who aim to contribute to the development and sustainability of Delmarva’s chicken industry
requirements
Applicants must be residents of the Delmarva Peninsula
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited institution in the United States or be high school seniors accepted into one
Applicants must pursue a major related to the poultry industry
Applicants must demonstrate a clear intention to work in Delmarva’s poultry community
Applicants must submit a complete academic transcript
Applicants must provide a recommendation letter from an academic advisor or faculty member
Membership in the Delmarva Chicken Association is not required
