The program is offered by University of Hawaii Maui College and provides a structured training pathway that runs from summer to fall 2026
A total of 10 scholarships are available each valued at 5000 dollars
Students can pursue Certificate of Achievement in Culinary Arts or Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts
The program follows two phases
Summer training from May to August 2026 with intensive culinary lab courses and practical cooking and baking experience
Fall semester 2026 with advanced culinary courses and guaranteed placement in intermediate level classes
Available fields include culinary arts professional cooking baking and pastry arts and food preparation and kitchen management
Conditions
Applicants must enroll in and complete both required summer courses including fundamentals of cookery and fundamentals of baking
