The Qatar Government Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2026 to 2027 offers several study opportunities designed to support students at different academic levels including bachelor master doctoral and diploma studies The scholarship plan includes three major programs which provide opportunities to study in Qatar or at leading international universities across the world

The Amiri Scholarship Programme designed for outstanding high school graduates with exceptional academic performance and offers opportunities to study at the top ranked universities globally

The Abroad Scholarship Programme which allows students to pursue various academic disciplines at leading international universities in countries such as the United States the United Kingdom Canada Japan and Australia and includes newly introduced tracks in education professional diplomas sports and creative industries

The Local Scholarship Programme which includes the Tomouh Program and supports students who wish to study at accredited universities in Qatar particularly institutions located in Education City with study fields including medicine engineering computer science health sciences applied sciences and other disciplines

The Qatar Government Scholarships provide generous financial support and multiple advantages for students

Students in the Amiri Scholarship Programme and those studying medicine abroad receive a monthly allowance ranging from eight thousand to twelve thousand Qatari riyals along with travel allowances and a one time travel preparation grant of forty thousand Qatari riyals in addition to two business class flight tickets every year while the study period is also counted toward national service

Students in the general abroad scholarship program receive a monthly basic allowance of eight thousand Qatari riyals and a monthly travel allowance of six thousand Qatari riyals along with a twenty five thousand Qatari riyal pre travel grant and annual flight tickets

Students studying within Qatar receive monthly support depending on their field of study with ten thousand Qatari riyals for priority fields such as medicine education and emergency response eight thousand Qatari riyals for engineering computer science and health sciences six thousand Qatari riyals for applied sciences and arts and four thousand Qatari riyals for professional diploma programs
