The Global Korea Scholarship offers international students the opportunity to study associate or bachelor degree programs at top Korean universities with full financial support The program includes a Korean language training year before starting the academic degree program allowing students to adapt to life and education in Korea
The scholarship is offered through two main tracks Embassy Track and University Track Students from many countries can apply and successful candidates will begin their Korean language program in 2026 followed by enrollment in their degree programs
requirements
Applicants must be international students whose parents do not hold Korean citizenship
Candidates must be under the age of twenty five and born after March first two thousand one
Applicants must have completed high school or be expected to graduate before the end of December two thousand twenty five
Students must have strong academic performance with at least eighty percent grade average or ranking within the top twenty percent of their class or an equivalent GPA
Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to live and study in South Korea
Applicants who previously studied at Korean universities or previously received a Global Korea Scholarship for a degree program may face restrictions
