International Undergraduate Scholarship

The University of Kent International Undergraduate Scholarship is a competitive merit-based award designed to support high-achieving international students wishing to study a full-time undergraduate degree in the UK. The scholarship helps reduce tuition costs and reflects the University’s commitment to welcoming students from around the world. The award is available to overseas fee-paying students and is paid directly toward tuition fees.

Benefits:
£6,000 per year toward tuition fees
Funding for up to three years of undergraduate study
Opportunity to study at a globally recognised UK university

Eligible Nationalities:
Open to students of any nationality
Applicants must be assessed as overseas fee payers
Eligibility Criteria:
Achieve at least AAA at A-level or an equivalent international qualification
Submit a formal application for a full-time undergraduate program at the University of Kent
Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for the chosen degree
Commence studies in the September intake
Maintain an average of 60% in the first and second years to continue receiving the award
Not Eligible If You:
Apply for distance learning programs
Apply for KMMS (Kent and Medway Medical School) programs
Apply for a degree with a foundation year
Have declined your Kent offer or chosen Kent as an insurance choice

Click on the Funding section
View eligible scholarships
Select the International Undergraduate Scholarship
Click Apply and complete the form
Note: Application is only possible after receiving an offer from the University of Kent.
Selection Process:
Shortlisting is primarily based on academic achievement
Final decisions also consider: personal statement, academic references, and overall program application
Successful applicants must accept the scholarship offer within two weeks
The University reserves the right not to award the scholarship if no suitable candidates are identified
