Position Overview:
Zoomin is seeking a Programme Coordinator based in Turkey (Gaziantep or Istanbul) to support the development, implementation, and monitoring of programs aligned with the organization’s strategy and policies. The role involves supervising project managers and activity coordinators, overseeing workplans and budget expenditures, and ensuring the success of humanitarian interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Positioning and Fundraising
Maintain active relationships with donors and act as the main point of contact for donor communication, including field visits
Build and maintain a donor and partner database with updated information
Ensure partners comply with Zoomin and donor reporting requirements
Lead proposal development and submission, including concept notes, proposals, and donor reports
Liaise with technical teams to ensure proposals are relevant and technically sound
Incorporate lessons learned from previous projects into new proposals
Develop and sign grant agreements in coordination with the CEO and finance
2. Grant Management
Provide guidance on donor rules during project implementation and reporting
Conduct project kick-off and close-out meetings
Oversee development of narrative reports in collaboration with finance
Update monthly reporting follow-up and maintain smooth communication with HQ
Support Project Managers in work planning, budgets, and spending
Ensure high-quality donor reporting and timely submission of midterm and final reports
3. Management and Internal Coordination
Supervise Project Development Officers, Interns, and Assistants
Ensure team understands roles and responsibilities and follow up on day-to-day activities
Conduct regular staff appraisals and support career development
Implement archiving systems for documentation
4. External Communication
Oversee PR activities, media engagement, and documentation of success stories
Manage Zoomin communication activities including media visits, photography, and videos
Update and disseminate communication and visibility tools
Capitalize on media coverage and ensure documentation for internal and external use
Eligibility Criteria:
Education & Knowledge
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in international relations, political science, social sciences, humanitarian or development studies, public administration, or related field
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian/development settings
Proven field-based experience in grants management, partnerships, and business development
Expertise in proposal writing, reporting, and project cycle management
Experience in the Syrian humanitarian context is highly desirable
Knowledge of EU and US funded projects is a plus
Languages
Required: Fluent English (oral and written)
Preferred: French
Asset: Arabic
IT & Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Ability to produce high-quality reports and communication materials
