Turkey Government Scholarships 2027, officially known as Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları), offer fully funded study opportunities for international students at top Turkish universities. The program supports students at undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and research levels, combining high-quality education with cultural exchange and leadership development.

Degree Levels Covered
Associate Degree: 2 years + 1-year Turkish language course
Bachelor’s Degree: 4–6 years + 1-year Turkish language course
Master’s Degree: 2 years + 1-year Turkish language course
PhD Degree: 4 years + 1-year Turkish language course
Research Scholarships: 3–12 months

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Academic Requirements
Bachelor’s applicants: Minimum 70%
Master’s and PhD applicants: Minimum 75%
Health Sciences: Minimum 90%
Age Requirements
Undergraduate: Under 21 years
Master’s: Under 30 years
PhD: Under 35 years
Additional Requirements
Good health condition
Strong academic background
Statement of Purpose required
Research proposal may be required for PhD applicants

Turkish citizens or former Turkish citizens
Students currently enrolled in Turkish universities at the same level
Application Procedure
Applications open annually from January 10 to February 20
Register on the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS)
Upload required documents (passport, photo, transcripts, diplomas)
Submit a strong Letter of Intent
Select up to 12 university program preferences
Submit the application before the deadline
Shortlisted candidates attend an interview
