Qatar Government Scholarship Programs 2026–2027

The scholarship plan includes three main programs:

1. Amiri Scholarship Programme

   • Targets top high school graduates with exceptional academic records

   • Study at the world’s top 24 ranked universities and five leading local universities

   • Focus on priority fields: medicine, engineering, and innovation

   • Monthly allowance: QAR 8,000–12,000 plus business class tickets, pre-travel grant, and national service recognition

2. Abroad Scholarship Programme

   • Covers all disciplines, including education, professional diplomas, sports, and creative industries

   • Study opportunities at leading universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, and Australia

   • Monthly allowance: QAR 8,000 basic + QAR 6,000 travel allowance; includes annual flight tickets and pre-travel bonus

3. Local Scholarship Programme (including Tomouh Program)

   • Study within Qatar’s accredited universities, particularly Education City institutions

   • Open to students in medicine, engineering, computer science, health sciences, applied sciences, and more

   • Monthly allowance varies by field: QAR 10,000 (medicine/education), QAR 8,000 (engineering/health sciences), QAR 6,000 (applied sciences/arts), QAR 4,000 (professional diplomas)
