Qatar Government Scholarships 2027 (Fully Funded)
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the State of Qatar has officially opened applications for the 2026–2027 Government Scholarship Programmes. Qatari students who have completed their high school education, as well as other eligible candidates, are encouraged to apply for these prestigious fully funded scholarships available both within Qatar and abroad.
These scholarships aim to empower national talent, strengthen higher education, and develop a skilled workforce aligned with Qatar National Vision.
Available Qatar Scholarship Programmes
The 2026–2027 Scholarship Plan includes three main programmes:
The Amiri Scholarship Programme
Designed for top-performing high school graduates with outstanding GPAs.
Offers scholarships to study at the world’s top 24 ranked universities and five leading universities in Qatar.
Focuses on priority disciplines such as medicine, engineering, innovation, and strategic fields.
The Abroad Scholarship Programme
Covers all academic disciplines, including newly added tracks such as education, professional diplomas, sports, and creative industries.
Provides study opportunities at top international universities in countries including the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, and Australia.
The Local Scholarship Programme (Including Tomouh Programme)
Supports study at accredited universities within Qatar, particularly Education City institutions.
Available for fields such as medicine, engineering, computer science, health sciences, applied sciences, and other priority areas.
