AAUW International Fellowships for Women 2027 (Master’s & Doctorate)
Program Description:
The AAUW International Fellowships program is designed for international women pursuing graduate studies in the United States. It supports women who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to empowering women in their home countries.

Applicants must apply for one field and one degree level only.
Benefits:
Annual stipend:
Master’s: USD $20,000
Doctoral: USD $25,000
The fellowship covers tuition, books, housing, food, transportation, and childcare
Funds are disbursed in two installments during the fellowship year
Eligibility Criteria:
Must identify as a woman
Must be a non-U.S. citizen and not hold U.S. permanent residency
Must be admitted to or enrolled in a full-time Master’s or Doctoral program at a U.S.-accredited institution
Must hold at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0
Must plan to return to their home country and contribute professionally and socially
Must demonstrate commitment to women’s empowerment and community service
Must meet English proficiency requirements (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, etc.)
