Eligibility Criteria
First university degree recognized in Germany.
Academic degree obtained within the last six years.
Strong academic record.
Proof of language proficiency (English or German, minimum B1).
Residency outside Germany (not more than 15 months in Germany before application).
Application Procedure
Identify up to five tuition-free Master’s programs in the DAAD database.
Register and submit your application through the official DAAD portal.
Prepare required documents: CV (max 3 pages), Letter of Motivation (1-3 pages), language certificates, degree certificates, transcripts, and one recent recommendation letter.
Submit before the deadline (usually around October, depending on the country).
Eligible Nationalities
Students from developing and emerging countries. Must reside in an eligible country at the time of application.
