About West Coast Equine Foundation:

West Coast Equine Foundation (WCEF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting equine education, youth development, and equine health across the western United States. WCEF provides scholarships and grants to foster the bond between humans and horses while promoting careers in the equine industry.

West Coast Equine Foundation Scholarship 2026, USA (Funding up to $1,429)

Funding: Partial Funding, $1,429 per year
Degree Level: Undergraduate (College Students)
Available Subjects: Equine Science, Animal Science (Equine Focus), Veterinary Technology, Equine Health & Management, Agricultural Studies, Equestrian Studies, Horse Training & Care
Eligibility: Students studying in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, or Washington

Scholarship Overview:

Financial support for equine education expenses
Encourages youth involvement in equine and agricultural programs
Recognition from a respected nonprofit organization
Opportunity to engage with the broader equine community

Eligibility Criteria:

Enrollment in an equine-related major at a college or university
Minimum GPA of 3.0
Reside in or attend school in eligible West Coast states
Demonstrated academic achievement and extracurricular involvement
Strong interest in pursuing a career in the equine industry
Meet age and current year-of-study requirements

Application Procedure:

Review eligibility requirements (GPA, major, state)
Prepare academic transcripts and information on equine-related extracurriculars or work experience
Complete and submit the scholarship application before April 4
Recipients are selected and administered directly by WCEF
