Melbourne Research Scholarship – Masters by Research
This fully funded scholarship covers tuition fees for up to 2 years for Master’s by Research students. Recipients receive a stipend of AUD $37,000 per year (pro rata), including paid sick leave, maternity leave, and parenting leave. International students are provided with Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and a relocation grant of AUD $3,000, while domestic interstate students receive AUD $2,000. Eligibility is based on academic excellence and research potential.
Melbourne Research Scholarship – Doctoral (PhD)
The scholarship covers tuition fees for up to 4 years. PhD students receive a stipend of AUD $37,000 per year (pro rata) for up to 3.5 years. Benefits include OSHC for international students and relocation assistance. Candidates are selected based on academic merit, research potential, professional experience, and achievements in their field. Recipients gain access to world-class research facilities and supervision.
Living Stipend and Benefits
Recipients of the Melbourne Research Scholarship receive a competitive living allowance to cover living expenses in Melbourne. Stipend payments include paid leave entitlements, including sick leave, parental leave, and additional allowances for eligible circumstances. Relocation Grant

Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
