Eligibility Criteria

Academic excellence: first-class or equivalent undergraduate/ Master’s degree

Research potential: demonstrated through previous research experience

Open to both traditional and non-traditional academic/career backgrounds

Only new PhD applicants are eligible; current Imperial PhD students cannot apply

Full-time or part-time PhD programs

Some departments may have restrictions for international candidates
Application Procedure

Find a Supervisor – Identify a potential supervisor who agrees to supervise your PhD project.

Check Supervisor Availability – Ensure the supervisor is available to take new scholars.

Online Application – Submit PhD admission application through Imperial’s online system; departmental review will automatically consider you for the scholarship.

Supporting Documents – Include a 2-page document: personal statement (motivation, background) and research proposal. Provide names of two academic referees.
