Qatar Museums Foundation presents the exhibition “Between a Look and a Look: Gérôme, Art and Influence,” exploring the art and legacy of French painter and sculptor Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824–1904). The exhibition examines Gérôme’s influence on the Orientalist art movement and contextualizes his work alongside modern and contemporary artworks from West Asia, North Africa, and Central Asia.
