The Master Mind Scholarships Fellowship Programme is a prestigious scholarship funded by the Flemish Government to promote the internationalisation of higher education in Flanders, Belgium. This highly competitive scholarship is awarded to academically excellent students demonstrating strong motivation and international potential. The scholarship provides substantial financial support to ensure students can focus fully on their studies.

Master’s Degree (Full-time)
Duration: Varies by master’s programme; second-year funding for 2-year programmes is conditional
Available Fields:
Multiple study fields supported under the Master Mind Scholarship. Availability depends on the chosen master’s programme at VUB.
Scholarship Benefits:
Fixed scholarship amount: €10,020 per academic year
Tuition fee waiver (limited to the Flemish scholarship student rate)
Note: Coverage applies for the full duration of the master’s programme
Not Covered: Health insurance, flight tickets, language preparation courses
Eligibility:
Open to all nationalities worldwide
Exclusions: Students graduated from or currently enrolled at a Flemish higher education institution; Russian citizens
Academic Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.0 (calculated using Scholaro GPA Calculator)
Admission Requirement: Official acceptance letter from VUB Education and Student Administration Office
English Language Requirements: TOEFL iBT ≥ 94, IELTS Academic ≥ 7.0, Cambridge English C1 ≥ 185; online versions accepted

Upload required documents including:
Completed application form
Passport photo and ID
Transcript of records (certified translation if needed)
Curriculum Vitae (with GPA, awards, publications, scholarships)
GPA calculation screenshots from Scholaro
English language test results
Motivation letter addressed to Flemish Government jury
Two signed recommendation letters
Copy of diploma(s) (certified translation if needed)

Late, incomplete, or ineligible applications will not be accepted
Selection Procedure:
Applications reviewed by VUB
VUB nominates up to 20 candidates
Final selection by the Flemish Ministry of Education
