About the Organization:


 Pen Air Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution that invests in young leaders by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors committed to academic excellence and community service. The Pen Air Credit Union Scholarship supports students pursuing higher education at accredited institutions in Florida and Alabama.

Program Overview:


 This four-year scholarship provides financial support for students enrolling full-time in accredited universities, community colleges, or technical/vocational schools. Students may pursue any undergraduate program, including Business, Engineering, Health Sciences, Education, Liberal Arts, Technology and Trades, and Social Sciences.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • Scholarship value: up to $10,000 for undergraduate study

  • Four-year support: renewable each semester if eligibility is maintained

  • Applicable to any accredited institution: universities, community colleges, technical schools

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a primary member of Pen Air Credit Union, with the account in good standing

  • Graduating high school senior planning full-time enrollment in an accredited institution

  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA each semester

  • Must remain a Pen Air member in good standing throughout the scholarship term

  • Demonstrate community service involvement, leadership, and academic achievement

  • Reside within Pen Air’s service region (Florida and Alabama)

Application Procedure:

  1. Become a primary Pen Air Credit Union member and ensure the account is in good standing

  2. Prepare required documents: academic transcripts, proof of Pen Air membership, personal statement/community service description, optional resume or recommendation letters

  3. Complete the online application carefully and attach all documents

  4. Submit the application before March 23

  5. Await notification of selection
