2. Public Life Scholarship

• Financial support for students actively contributing to university community life.

• Awarded based on engagement, leadership, and social contribution.

3. Scientific and Professional Scholarship

• Financial recognition for research, publications, or competition achievements.

• Supports academic excellence beyond curriculum requirements.

• Applicants must provide proof of research participation, publications, or participation in academic competitions (TDK, OTDK, MDK, OMDK).

4. Sport Scholarship

• Awarded to students with outstanding sports achievements.

• Granted to the top seven applicants based on performance.

• Eligible achievements include national/international competitions, Olympic participation, European/World Championships, and national championships.

5. National Higher Education Scholarship

• HUF 40,000 per month for 10 months (one academic year).

• Offered at the discretion of the Rector.

• Requires completed semesters with minimum credits, adjusted credit index above 4.5 from third semester onward, and outstanding scientific/professional achievements.

6. Eligibility Criteria (General)

• Active full-time Bachelor’s or Master’s student.

• Performance evaluated based on the last active semester.

• Applicants must meet programme-specific requirements.

7. METU Academic Scholarship Requirements

• Active, full-time, fee-paying student in Bachelor’s or Master’s programme.

• Semesters completed must not exceed programme duration.

• Based on adjusted credit index, automatically calculated by the system.

8. Public Life Scholarship Requirements

• Active student status in full-time programme.

• Minimum GPA: 3.5 in the last active semester.

• Activity statement required (1500 characters).

• Additional explanation for out-of-position activities (500 characters) if applicable.

9. Scientific and Professional Scholarship Requirements

• Active full-time student with minimum GPA 4.0.

• Proof of achievements in research, publications, academic competitions, or professional contests required.

10. Sport Scholarship Requirements

• Active full-time student with minimum GPA 2.5.

• Official documentation of sports achievements required.

• Eligible achievements: national/international competitions, Olympic participation, European/World Championships, national championships.

11. National Higher Education Scholarship
