Course 1: University of Bath GREAT Scholarship 2026
The GREAT Scholarship at the University of Bath provides an opportunity for international students to pursue a Postgraduate Taught Master’s degree in the UK with partial funding. Funded in collaboration with the British Council, this scholarship helps reduce tuition fees for eligible students enrolling in selected master’s programs.
Degree Level:
Postgraduate Taught Master’s Degree (Full-time study only)
Excludes MBA programmes
Available Faculties:
Faculty of Engineering & Design
Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences
Faculty of Science
School of Management (excluding MBA)
Benefits:
Tuition fee waiver applied directly to course fees
Financial support for one academic year
Recognized British Council-funded award
Opportunity to study at a top-ranked UK university
Note: The scholarship is not paid as cash and can only be used to reduce tuition fees.
Eligible Nationalities:
Open to selected international nationalities under the GREAT Scholarships scheme
Eligibility depends on the applicant’s country of citizenship
Students must meet UK visa and admission requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
Hold an offer of admission for an eligible full-time master’s course
Classified as an international (overseas) student
Meet academic and English language requirements
Willing to act as a GREAT ambassador for UK higher education
Not enrolled in an MBA programme
Application Procedure:
Apply for a Master’s course and receive an offer of admission
Complete the GREAT Scholarship application form via the University of Bath Application Tracker
Answer three scholarship questions as part of the application
Applications are reviewed by the university, and successful applicants are notified by email
Deadlines:
Scholarship application deadline: 8 April
Decision notification: By 8 May
