Eligible Academic Backgrounds
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields, including:

• Minimum CGPA: 3.0–3.5 / 4.0 (program-dependent)

  • M.Sc.: UAE Nationals 37,500 | International Students 15,500

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree (for M.Sc.) or Master’s degree (for Ph.D.) in STEM from a recognized university

• Minimum CGPA 3.0–3.5 / 4.0

• Final-year students may apply with current transcripts

• Submission of CV, Statement of Purpose, Research Statement (Ph.D.), two referee letters, GRE (optional)

• Pass MBZUAI technical screening exam and interview

• International applicants must be eligible for UAE visa sponsorship

Application Procedure

2. Complete online technical screening exam covering math, statistics, programming, and AI fundamentals.

3. Attend a faculty interview assessing technical skills, research potential, and academic readiness.

4. Await admission decision, announced on March 15 via email and applicant portal.
