The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has officially launched its 2026–2027 Government Scholarship Programmes. These prestigious scholarships are designed to empower Qatari students, support higher education, and contribute to building a skilled workforce in line with Qatar’s National Vision. Eligible students include high school graduates and other qualifying individuals seeking academic advancement locally and abroad.

Available Scholarship Programs:
The 2026–2027 plan features three main programs:

Local Scholarship Programme (includes the Tomouh Program)
These programs cover bachelor's, master’s, doctoral, and diploma-level studies both within Qatar and internationally.

Abroad Scholarship Programme: Covers all disciplines, including education, professional diplomas, sports, and creative industries. Offers enrollment at top global universities in the USA, UK, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

Local Scholarship Programme: Supports studies at Qatar’s accredited universities, especially Education City institutions. Available for medicine, engineering, computer science, health sciences, applied sciences, and more.

Amiri Scholarship Programme: Targets top high school graduates with high GPAs. Enables study at the world’s top 24 ranked universities and five leading local universities. Focuses on priority fields such as medicine, engineering, and innovation.

Scholarship Benefits and Allowances:

Amiri Scholarship & Medicine Abroad: QAR 8,000–12,000/month (basic & travel allowance), QAR 40,000 pre-travel grant, two business class tickets per year, and study years count toward national service.

General Abroad Scholarships: QAR 8,000/month basic allowance, QAR 6,000/month travel allowance, QAR 25,000 pre-travel bonus, annual flight tickets included.
