1. India Thapar Institute Scholarships 2025–26 | Merit and Need-Based Opportunities for Students

Scholarship Overview:
TIET Scholarships 2025–26 support academic excellence, financial need, and special categories of students at UG and PG levels. Benefits include tuition fee waivers, monthly stipends, and merit-based awards.

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate: BE/BTech (including Lateral Entry)

  • Postgraduate: ME/MTech, MSc, MA, MCA

  • Open for all academic disciplines

Merit Scholarships (BE/BTech):

  • Scholarship-I: Top 50 students, 100% tuition & development fee waiver, min CGPA 8.5

  • Scholarship-II: Next 60 students, 100% tuition fee waiver, min CGPA 8.5

  • Scholarship-III: Top 10% in each discipline, 50% tuition fee waiver, min AGPA 8.0

  • Scholarship-IV (Biotech & Biomedical): PCB marks based, full/half tuition fee waiver

Lateral Entry Scholarships:

  • Diploma holders with ≥60% marks, 25–50% tuition waiver, min CGPA 8.5

Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships:

  • Family income ≤ ₹10 lakh/year

  • Full tuition fee waiver based on financial need

  • Continuation: CGPA ≥ 7.5, no backlog

Postgraduate Scholarships:

  • ME/MTech: Support for GATE-qualified students and others, monthly stipend ₹5,000–₹12,400

  • MSc/MA: 30–50% tuition fee waiver depending on graduation marks

  • MCA: Top 10% students receive ₹40,000 per annum, min AGPA 8.0

Other Scholarships & Assistance:

  • Government and donor-funded scholarships (AICTE Pragati, UGC Ishan Uday, Punjab Post-Matric, NTPC, Indian Oil, etc.)
