The TDRA BETHA Program 2026 is a prestigious scholarship initiative by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) ICT Fund in the UAE. It supports academically distinguished Emirati students pursuing ICT-related disciplines, aiming to develop highly skilled professionals in computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, information technology, and telecommunications. Degree Levels

The scholarship is available for:

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be UAE citizens (proof via Civil Registry or Family Book)

Bachelor’s Degree Applicants:

  • Minimum 75% in secondary school certificate or equivalent

  • Graduated within the last three years

  • Not employed

  • No prior scholarships or financial assistance

  • Male applicants: NOC from National Service Authority or proof of completion

  • English proficiency: IELTS ≥ 6, EmSAT ≥ 1430, TOEFL ≥ 510, SAT ≥ 480

Master’s Degree Applicants:

  • Minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0 in Bachelor’s degree

  • No prior scholarships or financial assistance

  • Male applicants: NOC or completion letter required

  • Employed students eligible but monthly allowance not provided

Ongoing Students:

  • Bachelor: CGPA ≥ 2.8, 12+ credit hours, major courses B or above

  • Master: CGPA ≥ 3.0, 9+ credit hours

  • Students not selected may reapply after one semester with minimum GPA requirements

Application Procedure

  1. Prepare Required Documents:

    • Full university acceptance/admission letter (conditional approvals not accepted)

    • Certified high school certificate (undergraduates) or Bachelor’s transcript (postgraduates)

    • Family Book (all pages)

    • Official IBAN letter under student’s name

    • NOC for male applicants (if applicable)

  2. Submit Application:

    • Apply via TDRA ICT Fund portal once registration opens

    • Registration for Fall 2025 is closed; Spring 2026 dates will be announced

  3. Evaluation Criteria:

    • Secondary school scores (for new students)

    • University placement tests

    • English proficiency tests

    • STEM performance (Math, Physics, Chemistry)

    • GPA and major course grades for ongoing students

  4. Selection Notification:

    • Shortlisted students are contacted for approval
