Program Overview:
The Erasmus Mundus IMSOGLO Master’s Scholarship is a fully funded international master’s degree in Soil and Global Change (IMSOGLO). This two-year program prepares the next generation of environmental and soil scientists to tackle challenges caused by climate change and ensure sustainable soil management for future generations.

Funding and Financial Support:
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of €1,400 for up to 24 months, covering living costs, travel, and insurance. In addition, tuition fees are completely waived, and students receive comprehensive health insurance coverage for the duration of the program.Eligibility and Academic Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 180 ECTS) in natural or applied sciences such as chemistry, biology, geology, agricultural engineering, environmental science, or related fields. The degree should include at least 40 ECTS in core scientific disciplines (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, ecology, or environmental sciences). Academic performance should be within the top 30% of the graduating class.
English Language Requirements:
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency through one of the following:

Applicants from countries where English is the official language of education may apply for a language exemption by providing a certified “Language of Instruction” letter from their university (subject to program approval).

Accepted students must apply for a Type D Student Visa (Code B35) from the Belgian embassy. The visa allows mobility across Belgium, Austria, Germany, and Denmark throughout the study period. After arrival, students will obtain a two-year residence permit covering the entire program duration.After Admission:
Students will be required to authenticate their academic documents and submit them before 31 May 2026 to finalize the admission and receive the official Letter of Admission. Additional details regarding housing, insurance, and residence permits will be provided in May 2026.
