Master Mind Scholarship for Master’s in Belgium 2026 | Fully Funded

About the Scholarship:
The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training offers the Master Mind Scholarship for exceptional international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at universities in Flanders or Brussels. The scholarship covers full tuition and provides an annual grant of €10,000.

Scholarship Details:

• Academic Year: 2026–2027

• Value: Full tuition waiver + €10,000 per academic year

• Host Institution: KU Leuven University, Belgium

• Place of Study: Main campus in Leuven, some programs in Brussels and Ghent

• Duration: 1 year for 60 ECTS programs, 2 years for 120 ECTS programs

• Number of Scholarships: 30 offered by Flemish Government, KU Leuven nominates up to 20 students

Eligibility:

• Master’s programs only

• Open to all nationalities except Russian citizens

• Excellent academic record required

• Previous degrees from higher education institutions outside Flanders

• English proficiency required (TOEFL iBT 94, IELTS 7, Cambridge CPE C2)

• Exemptions for prior English-taught programs in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK, USA

Fields of Study:

1. Humanities and Social Sciences – e.g., Philosophy, Laws (LLM), Business Administration, Communication Sciences, Psychology

2. Science, Engineering, and Technology – e.g., Architecture, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence

3. Biomedical Sciences – e.g., Bioethics, Rehabilitation Sciences, Sports Ethics

Application Process:

• Application opens: 15 October 2025

• Deadline: 15 January 2026 (23:59 CET)

• Step 1: Submit Master’s program application + KU Leuven Scholarship & Master Mind Candidacy Form

• Step 2: Register scholarship candidacy online

• Preselected candidates submit 1-minute motivational video

• Final selection by Flemish Government announced May–June 2026
