Eligible Nationalities
Open to citizens and residents of eligible developing countries in the following regions:

Pacific: Fiji, Kiribati, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna, etc.

Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam

South Asia & Middle East: Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Jordan, State of Palestine

Africa: Botswana, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, etc.

Caribbean: Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Suriname

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum age 18
-
Citizen and resident of an eligible developing country
-
No Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency
-
Applications submitted by Australian Host Organizations in partnership with Overseas Counterpart Organizations

Employment in a relevant field
-
Adequate English proficiency
-
Availability for the full fellowship duration (2–52 weeks)

Travel without dependents (funding covers individual Fellows only)
