Since 1993, JISPA has empowered over 1,000 government officials from more than 20 countries across Asia and the Pacific. Scholars receive specialized training in macroeconomics, public policy, and financial management, all while immersing themselves in Japan’s dynamic economic and cultural environment. 

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be junior government officials from developing countries in Asia and the Pacific. Applicants should demonstrate strong academic potential and a commitment to contributing to economic and public sector development in their home country.

Benefits of the JISPA Scholarship

This fully funded scholarship covers full admission and tuition fees, a monthly stipend for living expenses, one round-trip economy airfare, pre-arrival allowances including visa and medical exam fees, dormitory accommodation and insurance, orientation program fees, and field trips organized by partner universities. Please note that the scholarship covers the scholar only and does not extend to family members.
