Program Overview: Kobe University offers exchange opportunities for international students to study for one or two semesters in Japan. During the exchange, students gain first-hand experience of Japanese culture, academic life, and research methodologies at a globally recognized institution.

Automatically awarded to outstanding exchange students based on their exchange application.

No separate application is required.

Provides a monthly stipend of approximately 60,000 JPY during the exchange period.

HUMAP Student Exchange Promotion Program (Inbound):

Funded by Hyogo Prefecture to support student exchanges between universities in the Asia-Pacific region.

Provides a monthly stipend of approximately 80,000 JPY for selected students.

Applicants must be from HUMAP partner institutions.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be enrolled at a partner university with an exchange agreement with Kobe University.
