About the Scholarship:

The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is a French government initiative managed by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Its goal is to attract outstanding international students to pursue Master’s or PhD programs at French higher education institutions.

Funding: Fully Funded (monthly allowance + additional support, tuition not covered)
Level: Master’s & PhD
Fields of Study:

Science & Technology
Health
Environmental Transition
Mathematics & Digital
Engineering
Humanities & Social Sciences (Law, Economics, History, French Language, etc.)
Location: France (Paris-Saclay University)
Application Period: October 1, 2025 – November 9, 2025
Results: Expected December 2025

Benefits:

Master’s: Monthly allowance of approx. €1,181
PhD: Monthly allowance of approx. €1,800
Additional support may include health insurance, housing assistance, and other services
Scholarship duration depends on program and study level

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be an international student not residing or studying in France
Age limits:
- Master’s: born on/after March 31, 1996
- PhD: born on/after March 31, 1990
Must apply for an eligible program at Paris-Saclay University and be nominated by the university
Only one application per study level
Cannot combine with other French government scholarships

How to Apply:

Apply to an eligible Master’s or PhD program at Paris-Saclay University.
University nominates selected students for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship.
Scholarship benefits are granted for the full duration of study.
