Degree Levels
Open to Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral students, including those currently enrolled in degree programs at overseas universities.
Program Structure
Choose between two comprehensive study tracks designed to match your level of proficiency
Basic Course (13th Cohort) – March 3 to June 19, 2026
Focus on Gyemongpyeon (The Book of Teaching Children), Mencius, Samguksagi (Chronicles of the Three States), and Collected Commentaries of Elementary Learning
Advanced Course (14th Cohort) – September 1 to December 18, 2026
Dive into Analects of Confucius, Mencius, Samguk Yusa (Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms), and advanced prose readings
Eligibility
Applicants must be international (non-Korean) students majoring in Korean Studies at an overseas university
Advanced proficiency in Korean is required as all lectures are conducted in Korean
For the Advanced Course, prior completion of a basic Hanmun (Hanja/Chinese Character) course is mandatory
Applicants should not be graduates of the same level of study they are applying for
