Program Overview

The Mundus MAPP is a unique two-year Master’s program in Public Policy that allows students to experience study at two different partner universities based on their chosen mobility track. Specializations include Global Public Policy through CEU–IBEI, European Public Policy via CEU–York, Political Economy and Development with ISS–IBEI, and Governance and Development through ISS–York. The program blends rigorous academic training with hands-on exposure, preparing graduates for impactful careers in the public and private sectors.

Scholarship Benefits

The Erasmus Mundus (EMJM) Scholarship is open to applicants worldwide and offers:

A monthly stipend of €1,400 for 24 months totaling up to €33,600
Full tuition fee waiver for the entire program
Comprehensive health insurance covering the full study period with additional coverage before and after studies
Support for students with special needs, depending on disability level

Recipients are responsible for certain costs including study visits (€600–€1,000) in Year 1, Winter School (€600–€1,000) in Year 2, and travel or visa expenses between consortium countries

Additionally, one Institutional Scholarship per study track offers a 50% tuition fee waiver for both years without a stipend

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants from all nationalities with strong academic records are welcome to apply. Scholarships are highly competitive, so candidates are encouraged to also explore external funding opportunities offered by partner institutions CEU, IBEI, ISS, and York, as well as other funding bodies

How to Apply

Applications are centrally managed by Central European University (CEU) and must be submitted through CEU’s online portal. Required documents include academic transcripts, CV, statement of purpose, and scholarship interest indication. No separate application is needed for the EMJM scholarship
