Fellowship Details
Meta’s annual PhD Fellowship program supports promising doctoral students engaged in research areas such as artificial intelligence augmented and virtual reality computer vision computational social science human-computer interaction machine learning systems networking and technology policy. It is a competitive and highly selective award that reflects Meta’s deep commitment to advancing academic research and future leadership in these key disciplines
Eligibility
The fellowship is open to applicants of all nationalities who are enrolled full-time in a PhD program at an accredited university
Applicants may be in any stage of their doctoral studies
Research must be directly relevant to one of the listed fellowship focus areas
Applicants must remain enrolled in the PhD program for the full duration of the fellowship
Individuals from underrepresented backgrounds in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply
Fellowship Benefits
Full tuition and university fees covered for up to two academic years
Annual stipend of $42,000 USD to support living costs and travel to conferences
