Eligibility and Application Requirements
Applicants must be ordinarily resident in the UK and hold a long‑term academic or research appointment at a UK Higher Education Institution or Independent Research Organisation that extends throughout the fellowship Successful candidates must be at early‐career or mid‐career stage and meet the scheme’s security clearance and nationality requirements Applicants need not submit a detailed research proposal at application stage but should be prepared to co‐design the workplan with their host department post‑award
Funding and Time Commitment
Each award offers up to £120 000 based on 80 percent Full Economic Costing (FEC) and requires a time commitment between 0.4 and 0.8 full‑time equivalent (FTE) throughout the 12‑month fellowship period
