Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be a new international student joining an eligible master’s or MRes program in September 2025 or January 2026.
2. Pay tuition fees at the international rate.
3. Study full-time, on-campus in Liverpool.
4. Accept the offer and pay the tuition fee deposit by the deadline outlined in the offer letter.
Exclusions
Applicants will not be eligible if they:
* Have previously studied at:
* University of Liverpool International College
* Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU)
* University of Liverpool (as an undergraduate or on a Study Abroad/Exchange program)
* Are enrolling in:
* Online or distance-learning programs
* PGCert, MPhil, MArch, PhD, Professional Doctorates (including DDSc), or unlisted master's courses
* Already hold a master’s degree.
* Have tuition fees paid by a government, commercial organization, or employer.
* Are eligible for either the Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship - Course or the Achievement variant (these scholarships cannot be combined).
For part-time students, the scholarship is awarded pro-rata, divided over the length of the course (e.g., £1,250 per academic year for a two-year program).

Application Procedure
* No application needed: The scholarship is automatically awarded to all eligible students who meet the criteria.
* The tuition fee discount will be applied directly to the student’s fee account.
* Note: The scholarship has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may be withdrawn if program capacity is reached or conditions are not met.
