Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be domiciled in the UK and classified as Home fee status.
2. Begin a 180-credit postgraduate taught course in the 2025/26 academic year.
3. Study either full-time (one year) or part-time (up to two years or more).
4. Belong to one or more under-represented groups, as listed below:
UNDER-REPRESENTED STUDENT CRITERIA
To be eligible, you must meet at least one of the following:
* Participation in a Widening Participation Scheme at Birmingham or another UK university.
* Care leaver (spent at least 3 months in local authority care).
* Disability (receiving DSA, DLA, or PIP).
* Black and ethnic minority background.
* Bereaved of or estranged from both parents, under the age of 25.
* Caring responsibilities for a dependent friend or family member.
* Household income below £42,875.
