Taipei Tech New Southbound Elite Study Program 2025 in Taiwan (Fully Funded)

The Taipei Tech New Southbound Elite Study Program 2025 is now accepting applications for a fully funded opportunity designed for outstanding university students from the Indo-Pacific region. This program aims to enhance economic and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and countries in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the South Pacific.

Program Details:

 * Country: Taiwan

 * Location: National Taipei University of Technology

 * Open for: Citizens from New Southbound Policy countries

 * Program Dates: September 2025 to January 2026

 * Duration: 5 months

 * Application Deadline: July 4th, 2025

Program Coverage:

Participants will receive comprehensive financial support, including:

 * Travel Allowance: NTD 15,000 for air travel

 * Monthly Allowance: NTD 10,000 for living expenses

 * Housing Allowance: NTD 15,000

 * Insurance Allowance: NTD 3,300

 * Language and Semiconductor Courses: Covered

 * Participation in Workshops and Field Trips

Program Objectives:

The main objectives of the program are to:

 * Strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation with participating countries.

 * Equip young talent with multilingual abilities.

 * Enhance cooperation in education, culture, and economics.

 * Cultivate individuals with cross-cultural communication skills.

Course Curriculum:

The program includes courses in:

 * Artificial Intelligence

 * Semiconductor Technology (9 Credits – 162 Hours)

 * Chinese Language (144 hours)

 * Workshops (2 days)

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

 * Must be from New Southbound Policy countries (e.g., Sri Lanka, Vietnam, India, etc.).

 * Open to sophomore to senior university students.

 * Must not be citizens of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau.

 * Must not have received financial support from Taiwanese government or educational organizations.

Eligible Countries Include:

 * Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Vietnam, Pakistan, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Australia, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Nepal, Laos, Bangladesh, Bhutan.
