Scholarship Benefits
1. Monthly Allowance: 130,000 yen for living expenses.
2. Travel and Setup Allowance: One-time payment of 150,000 yen.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be an Indonesian citizen.
2. Have graduated from one of the following universities:
* Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM)
* Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB)
* Universitas Indonesia (UI)
* Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR)
3. Intend to pursue S1 (Bachelor), S2 (Master), or S3 (PhD) studies at:
* Kyoto University
* Osaka University
* Ritsumeikan University
* Kwansei Gakuin University
4. Self-finance studies at the chosen Japanese university.
5. Have a minimum GPA of:
* 3.0 for undergraduate programs.
* 3.5 for master’s programs.
6. Demonstrate financial need.
7. Show Japanese language proficiency or a willingness to learn.
8. Be passionate about Japanese culture and fostering Indonesia–Japan relations.
Note: Online study applicants are not eligible (except residents of Osaka).

2. Research proposal (in English or Japanese)
3. Motivation letter (in English or Japanese)
4. Legalized academic transcripts and degree certificates
5. Language proficiency certificate (in English or Japanese)
6. Two recommendation letters:
* From a faculty member or lecturer.
* From an Academic Advisor, Head of Program, or Dean.
7. Letter of Acceptance (LoA) (can be submitted later).
