Eligibility Criteria
To apply, candidates must:
1. Be enrolled in a relevant education or research program outside Switzerland.
2. Remain affiliated with their home institution during the fellowship.
3. Not have previously studied or worked at the host institution in Switzerland.
4. Meet the admission or hosting criteria of the selected NCCR Automation lab or principal investigator (PI).
5. For PhD and postdocs: Continue receiving a salary from their home institution during the fellowship.

Applications will be reviewed based on:
1. Academic and research potential.
2. Quality and alignment of the proposed project or motivation.
3. Contribution to international collaboration and interdisciplinarity.

4. Letter of support from home institution and academic supervisor.
5. Copies of university transcripts and degree certificates.
6. Declaration of income during the research period (if any).
