ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. International Student Status:
* Must be an international student enrolled at HAW Hamburg.
* Must have obtained higher education entrance qualifications outside Germany or completed preparatory studies at a German Studienkolleg.
2. Enrollment Status:
* Bachelor's students: Must have completed at least two semesters.
* Master's students: Must have completed at least one semester.
3. Academic Performance:
* Minimum average grade of 2.2.
4. Standard Study Duration:
* Must be within the standard period of study for the degree program.
5. Government Funding Restrictions:
* Must not be receiving BAföG or other forms of government funding during the application period.

APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Required Documents:
* Curriculum Vitae (CV): Maximum two pages.
* Certificate of Enrollment: Obtainable from the myHAW portal.
* Current Transcript: Must include average grade and credit points earned.
* Residency Permit or ID:
* Non-EU students: Copy of residency permit.
* EU students: Copy of passport or ID card.
* Bank Account Information: For scholarship disbursement.
* Financial Circumstances Form: Details of financial situation.
* Letters of Recommendation:
* Two letters from instructors in the degree program (required for first-time applicants).
* Letters must be sent directly by professors to the International Office via email: [io_scholarships@haw-hamburg.de].
2. Submission:
* Upload all documents to the Mobility Online portal before the deadline.
3. Post-Application:
* Applications are reviewed by the International Office.
* Notification of results is sent within four weeks after the deadline.
