Eligibility Criteria
* Must hold a PhD degree or complete their PhD within six months before the submission deadline.
* The PhD must have been awarded within two years prior to the application deadline.
* Applicants must not have conducted research or lived in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the last three years.
* Those affiliated with ETH Zurich, EPFL, or other ETH domain institutions for more than six months in the last three years are ineligible.
* Must have at least one peer-reviewed journal publication or a recognized prize for their doctoral research.
* Applicants must be supported by an ETH Zurich professor willing to act as a mentor.

Application Procedure
1. Find a Mentor: Contact an ETH Zurich professor and secure their support.
2. Prepare Application Documents: Complete the project description using the provided ETH Zurich templates.
3. Register & Submit: Apply via the ETH Zurich eResearch system and upload all required documents.
4. Submit Reference Letters: Two external referees must send recommendation letters directly to ETH Zurich 10 days before the deadline.
5. Interview: Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an online interview in May or November.
