Description of Volunteer Work
The volunteer will be part of the 18+ team in the office, consisting of four staff members. They will also serve as a member of the 18+ Volunteer Committee, responsible for planning and executing 3-day camps for participants over 18 years old, organizing orientation meetings for potential applicants and new volunteers, and welcoming participants while providing necessary training and skill development.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Communication: Engage with 18+ program volunteers and support their recruitment and motivation.
- Orientation Preparation: Help organize orientations for Danish and foreign participants.
- Committee Participation: Share responsibilities and attend weekly meetings.
- Skill Development Training: Facilitate intercultural learning sessions both online and in person.
- Event Execution: Participate in organizing 4 orientation camps, each lasting 3 days, focusing on team building and cultural exchange.
- Welcoming Participants: Assist in receiving participants from airports or train stations (August and January).
- Administrative and Program Support: Ensure quality, manage projects, and build partnerships.
- Practical Learning: Engage in on-the-job training and regular evaluation discussions.
- Personal Skill Development: Adjust tasks based on the volunteer's interests and goals.

Requirements
- Experience or interest in intercultural learning and communication.
- Experience working with volunteers in volunteer-based organizations.
- Comfortable interacting in large social groups.
- Passion for travel and cultural experiences.
- Fluency in English (required).
- Motivation to learn Danish.
- Proficiency in computer tools like Word and Excel (required); additional digital skills are a plus.
- Creative personality with public-speaking skills, committed to working in a dynamic multicultural environment.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and readiness for extra hours during busy seasons.
