Volunteer Work Description in Turkey:

System&Generation (S&G) offers opportunities for volunteers to engage in a wide range of activities, including community work, administrative tasks, and project development. Volunteers gain hands-on experience in managing non-governmental organizations, organizing events, managing social media platforms, and collaborating with organizations such as ALF, ENYC, PLATFORM Network, GLORE Network, Euclid Network, and CEV. Volunteers may contribute to office tasks such as printing, scanning, updating websites, and managing social media accounts, as well as designing the YouthTelegraph magazine (a monthly magazine aimed at youth). They may also participate in organizing conversation clubs and community activities such as Helping Hands for Refugees, supporting centers for people with disabilities, schools, and contributing to environmental activities aligned with the 7Rs principles (Reconsider, Reuse, Repair, Re-gift, Reduce, Reject, and Recycle) in addition to supporting S&G’s networking initiatives.

Funding:

The 2025 volunteering program in Turkey includes:

• Free accommodation
• Food allowance: €180 per month
• Pocket money: €6 per day
• Transportation provided
• Travel expenses covered
