The Saïd Foundation Scholarships for the 2026/27 academic year are now open for applications. These fully funded scholarships are designed to support talented individuals from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who aspire to pursue a one-year master's degree in the UK. ↚

UK Saïd Foundation Scholarships 2026 (Fully Funded)

 Scholarship Overview

  • Degree Level: One-year master's degree programmes
  • Fields of Study: Open to all disciplines; however, priority is given to subjects that contribute to the development of the applicant's home country.
  • Partner Universities: Applicants must apply to one or more of the Foundation’s partner universities. 

 Scholarship Benefits

The Saïd Foundation Scholarships are fully funded and include:

  • Tuition Fees: Covered in full
  • Living Costs: Monthly stipend to cover accommodation and living expenses
  • Travel: Economy-class return airfare to and from the UK
  • Visa and Healthcare: Coverage of visa application fees and healthcare surcharge
  • Arrival Allowance: One-time allowance to assist with settling 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Saïd Foundation Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Nationality: Be a national and permanent resident of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine.
  • Academic Qualifications: Hold an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK 2:1 or higher (final-year undergraduates may also apply).
  • Work Experience: Have relevant work and/or voluntary experience and a clear career path upon returning home.
  • Leadership Potential: Demonstrate leadership potential in their chosen sector.
  • University Admission: Apply for and secure admission to a UK Master’s degree programme.
  • English Language Proficiency: Meet the Foundation’s and chosen university’s English language requirements.
  • Document Submission: Upload all required documents with their application.

  • High school certificate
  • University transcripts and graduation certificate (or transcripts to date if still studying)
  • Passport or national ID from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, or Palestine
  • English language test certificate
  • Offer letter(s) or proof of application to a UK Master’s programme starting autumn 2026
  • Three reference letters
