Requirements
Applicants must have a minimum admission GPA of 3.0. However, some departments may have higher GPA requirements. Students must be admitted as full-time students without provision or have cleared provisional admission as a master's or PhD student in a graduate program at the University of Manitoba.
Benefits
The UMGF offers substantial financial support:
- Master's students receive $20,000 per year for 12 or 24 months, totaling up to $40,000.
- Doctoral students receive $25,000 per year for 12, 24, 36, or 48 months, totaling up to $100,000.
