 Scholarship Overview

  • Award Value: AUD 52,352 per year

  • Coverage Includes:

  • Living allowance (stipend)
  • Research allowance
  • Relocation allowance (if eligible)
Duration:
  • Up to 2 years for Master's by Research
  • Up to 4 years for PhD by Research
Eligible Faculties:
  • Faculty of Arts (School of Music only)
  • Faculty of Engineering
  • Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Science
Application Deadline: 31 October 2025

 Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, Australian permanent resident, Australian humanitarian visa holder, or an international student
  • Submit a scholarship application in the same year the scholarship is offered (2025)
  • Undertake research that is environmentally responsible and socially beneficial
  • Meet Monash University's competitive scholarship selection requirements
  • Meet the university's English language proficiency requirements

  2. Submit Your Application: Apply for the scholarship as part of your application for admission to a postgraduate research degree. A single application is used for both admission and scholarship consideration.
  3. No Need to Specify the Scholarship: There is no need to specify the name of the scholarship, as eligible applicants will automatically be considered for all available postgraduate research scholarships.
