Scholarship Details

Degree Levels: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Professional Doctorates (DClinDent, DMA, DBA, EdD)
Stipend: NZ$33,624 per annum
Duration: Up to 36 months
Tuition Fees: Waiver of domestic tuition fees for up to 36 months (excludes student services fee and insurance)

Eligibility: Open to both international and domestic students

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have a master's degree with at least 0.75 EFTS.
First-Time Applicants: Applicants must be applying for the doctoral program for the first time at the University of Otago.
Research Potential: Applicants must demonstrate interest and potential for research.
English Language Proficiency: Applicants must meet the English language criteria set by the university.
Departmental Recommendation: A recommendation from the head of the department is required
