Fellowship Overview

Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a doctoral degree completed with excellent results before the fellowship begins
- Have obtained the doctorate no more than six years prior to application
- Possess at least one peer-reviewed publication
- Not have spent more than 12 months in the host country during the last three years
- Demonstrate a clear intention to pursue a long-term academic career in Germany
- Secure commitments from both a German university and a foreign host research institution
