Elevate Learning Through Writing: CSU TILT Writing‑Enriched Curriculum Faculty Fellowship 2025–26

Eligibility & Purpose

The WEC Faculty Fellowship is designed for tenured, tenure‑track, or continuing faculty at CSU during the 2025–26 year. Graduate students cannot apply as primary fellows, but faculty are encouraged to collaborate with them. Preference is given to faculty who attended TILT’s June 2025 Community of Practice and to those new to writing-across-the-curriculum initiatives. The fellowship supports design or redesign of a significant writing assignment or sequence tailored to course objectives and institutional priorities such as land‑grant mission, equity, and student success

Fellowship Support

Fellows receive a $1,500 stipend, 20 hours of individualized mentorship from a WEC Lead expert, guidance on curriculum design focused on impactful writing assignments, and the opportunity to present at CSU’s Summer Conference in May 2026. Successful participants may join the January 2026 Course Redesign Institute as co-facilitators. Funding is released upon completion of a final report due May 15, 2026

The formal application portal opened on June 24, 2025, and proposals are due by August 1, 2025 (11:59 p.m.). Recipients will be notified by August 15, 2025. Faculty then implement and assess their writing-enriched curriculum during Fall 2025, refining and reflecting in Spring 2026. The final report and stipend submission falls in mid-May, followed by public sharing of results at the Summer Conference
