Undergraduate applicants may receive one of 100 awards supporting a minimum three‑year bachelor’s or diploma course. For postgraduate studies, five scholarships are reserved exclusively for recipients of the Dalai Lama Trust undergraduate award. All scholarships offer full coverage of tuition and living expenses, with scholarship funds sent directly to the student’s bank account—preferably through State Bank of India
Application deadlines
are June 15, 2025 for undergraduates and August 31, 2025 for postgraduates. Incomplete or late submissions, including missing mark sheets, will not be considered .
Eligibility Criteria
You must hold valid Tibetan refugee status with up‑to‑date Green Book and Registration Certificate, and not hold any other scholarship . For undergraduate applicants meeting at least one of the following: strong academic consistency, exemplary character, or experience of orphanhood or economic hardship—endorsed via Form A or B, they are invited to apply. Postgraduate candidates are eligible only if they have previously received the Dalai Lama Trust undergraduate award .
